The P. Chuzhinov Institute of Economics and Law at KRU welcomed Aliya Amanzhulova, Head of the Department of Justice of the Kostanay region, as part of the "High Guest" educational and developmental project.
The project aims to connect students with prominent figures in the region and the republic, including public and government officials, law enforcement leaders, and businesspeople. These individuals share their "secrets to success" with students through engaging dialogue, recounting interesting stories from their lives and careers, talking about their mentors, and discussing their hobbies.
Aliya Alataevna hails from the Zhitkara district. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University in 2001.
She began her career as a chief specialist in the Department of Criminal Execution and Judicial Supervision for the Kostanay region. Over the years, she has held positions in the legal department of the Kostanay city administration, the city's Housing and Communal Services department, and spent several years in various roles in the Taranovsky district.
Aliya Alataevna has worked for the Department of Justice for over 17 years, spending a year in the capital before returning to her hometown of Kostanay.
She spoke to students of the "Jurisprudence," "International Law," and "Judicial and Law Enforcement Activities" programs about becoming a lawyer, her fulfilling student years, her extensive experience in public service, her ability to balance work and family life, her hobbies, and her aspirations.
She also shared her thoughts on the qualities that make successful young people. She emphasized the importance of self-belief, self-discipline, curiosity, creativity, and responsibility.
During the meeting, students gained valuable insights into the Department of Justice's work, the specifics of public service, career advancement opportunities, and the implementation of the "meritocracy" principle in practice.
