Kostanay Youth Chess Sports School Hosts Intense Intellectual Battles at Baitursynuly University Rector’s Cup Final.

This week, the Kostanay Youth Chess Sports School became a vibrant arena for intellectual competition.

The finals of the Baitursynuly University Rector’s Cup were held here, bringing together the brightest young chess talents.

The main goal of the tournament was to inspire youth development and promote intellectual sports.

Notably, the youngest participants—schoolchildren—showed mature strategies and confidence during the competition.

The organizers highlighted the achievements of Iman Nabiev, Anna Zhuyko, and Arlan Medet.

Furthermore, KRU Rector Seitbek Kuanyshbaev held a special meeting with the young honorary participant of the tournament, Iman Nabiev.

At just ten years old, Iman is already a member of Kazakhstan’s national team, a prize-winner of regional and international competitions, the Asian Blitz Champion, and the World Cadet Vice-Champion.

Seitbek Bekenovich awarded the schoolboy and wished the young chess player continued success.

All prize winners received well-deserved awards including cash certificates (20,000, 30,000, and 50,000 tenge), medals, certificates of merit, and, of course, trophies.
