Baitursynuly University Marks the Day of Spiritual Harmony

Today, on October 18, Baitursynuly University joined the national celebration of the Day of Spiritual Harmony in Kazakhstan.

This commemorative day was established following the First World Congress of Spiritual Harmony held in 1992. Its goal is to promote tolerance, dialogue, and mutual respect among people of different religions and nationalities.

To mark the occasion, the university hosted an event titled “The Unity of the Nation Lies in Spiritual Harmony.”

The discussion was moderated by Ablaykhan Osipov, a specialist in the Department of Youth Policy at the university.

Special guests included Sabyrzhan Yesmurzyn, Chief Imam of the Maral Ishan Mosque; Vitaly Kleba, Dean of the Sarykol Church District and cleric of the Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral in Kostanay; and Baibolat Segizbayev, a representative of the regional department for public development, Kogamdyk Kelisim (Public Accord).

The speakers emphasized the importance of spiritual harmony and national unity in their addresses.

The meeting took place in an open dialogue format. Students asked thoughtful questions and received expert insights and wise advice from the invited guests.
