A student of Baitursynuly University has won a bronze medal at the World Kettlebell Lifting Championship.
The main international kettlebell event of 2025 was held from November 13 to 18 in the city of Haining, China.
More than 20 participating countries, about 200 athletes — and among them, our Kazakh team!
Representing the national team of the Republic of Kazakhstan was Anton Stelmakh, a student of the Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynuly (Physical Education and Sports program).
He delivered an impressive performance in the “Snatch” event — 125 lifts of a 32-kg kettlebell — earning a bronze medal at the championship.
