Dear students and master’s degree candidates,
We announce the opening of the competition for awarding vacant state educational grants.
Applications are accepted until January 9, 2026 for the competition to award vacant educational grants released during the process of obtaining higher and postgraduate education based on the results of the first half of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The competition is conducted in accordance with Chapter 4 of the Rules for Awarding Educational Grants for Higher or Postgraduate Education Leading to the Degree of “Bachelor” or “Master,” approved by the Order of the Acting Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 25, 2023, No. 443.
The competition is based on the results of interim attestation and the applicant’s Grade Point Average (GPA).
If applicants have the same GPA, priority is given to those who have only grades A, A– (“excellent”); next, to those with grades from A, A– (“excellent”) to B+, B, B–; C+ (“good”); and after that, to those with mixed grades for the entire period of study.
Applications and required documents must be submitted both in paper and electronic form (scanned copies). Electronically, all scans must be placed in a single folder named after the applicant’s last name.

Paper and electronic documents are accepted by Deputy Directors of Institutes (Faculty Deputy Deans) for Academic Affairs.
A copy of the student’s identity document.
An application addressed to the Chair of the Board – Rector of the university, requesting participation in the competition for vacant educational grants. The application must include consent to publish the applicant’s GPA in open access.
Transcript for the entire period of study (requested through the Platonus personal account after completing winter exam session).
UNT certificate (for master’s candidates – CT certificate).
