On March 18, 2024, as part of the AIA grant project “Students with Disabilities: Legal Protection and Enhancing Competitiveness in the Labor Market”, grant holder Vitaliy Rudnev, Master of Journalism at Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov, together with the Centers for Inclusive Education and Practical Psychology, organized a cultural and recreational event “Nauryznama 2024” at the national Eastern restaurant “Tandyr.”
The event was attended by the project team, including students with disabilities and volunteers. Akzhan Bakhytzhanovna Altybaeva, Master of Philology and senior lecturer of the Department of Philology and Practical Linguistics, gave a detailed presentation on the meaning of each Nauryznama ritual.
Additionally, Rosa Esimkhanovna Zhangalieva and Saule Nurtasovna Aitkuzhinova, heads of the centers, conducted training activities aimed at socializing students with disabilities. Students actively participated in all stages of the celebration.
Events of this format promote social cohesion and support the adaptation of students in society, fostering unity, friendship, and mutual understanding.
