Are exams required at the end of the course?

Yes, our educational center requires exams at the end of each semester. Students who attend at least 70% of the classes are eligible to take the exam. This helps us assess material comprehension and identify the strengths and weaknesses of each student.

What does the exam consist of?

Written part includes listening, reading, and writing.

  • Listening is aimed at testing your ability to understand spoken Korean.
  • Reading evaluates your ability to read and understand texts of varying difficulty, from simple sentences to more complex ones.
  • Writing focuses on grammatical accuracy, lexical variety, and your ability to express thoughts in writing.

Oral part of the exam requires you to demonstrate your speaking skills. You may be asked questions on various topics to assess your ability to engage in a free-flowing and confident conversation, as well as to argue your points of view.

To successfully pass the exam, you must score at least 60% of the total possible points.
