V International Scientific Conference “Biological Diversity of Asian Steppes”

A. Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University (KRU), the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute, the Department of Natural Sciences, and the Research Centre for Ecology and Biology Issues, with the support of scientific and educational institutions, invite researchers, university faculty members, staff of specially protected natural areas, environmental specialists, teachers, doctoral and master’s students, and undergraduate students (as co-authors with their academic supervisor or upon the supervisor’s written recommendation), as well as all specialists interested in the study and conservation of Eurasia’s steppe ecosystems, to take part in the 5th International Scientific Conference “Biological Diversity of Asian Steppes.”

Following the conference, a collection of participants’ papers will be published, assigned Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) and Library-Bibliographical Classification (LBC) codes, and issued with an ISBN. The publication will be included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

Each author will receive a personalised certificate and a PDF copy of the conference proceedings.

MAIN CONFERENCE THEMES

1. Flora and plant communities of the steppe zone: steppe, forest, and wetland ecosystems.
2. Fauna and wildlife of the steppes.
3. Rare flora and fauna species; specially protected natural areas.
4. Study and conservation of nature in education.
