IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of modern journalism and PR in Kazakhstan"

As part of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Mukhamedzhan Seralin, on May 18, 2022, the Department of Journalism and Communication Management of the P. Chuzhinov Institute of Economics and Law is holding the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of modern journalism and PR in Kazakhstan" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the regional newspaper "Kostanai Tany". Students and teaching staff of Kazakhstani and foreign universities, practical journalists, advertising and PR specialists are invited to participate.

The conference will be held offline and online on May 18, 2022 using the Zoom application (a link to participate in the online conference will be sent additionally, as well as published on the university's website).

Within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference, work is planned in the following thematic areas:

• features of the development of PR and advertising in various spheres of the company's activity;
• new media in the context of current trends in mass communication;
• the history of Kazakh journalism as a factor in the formation of traditions;
• language and style of mass media;
• genre and thematic development of the regional press;
• Mukhamedzhan Seralin – editor, publicist.

Participation in the conference and publication in the collection are free of charge.
