The first stage of the intra-university competition starts on November 1 and will last until November 10.
The competition is open to full-time university teachers who have a continuous scientific and pedagogical experience of at least 5 years and high achievements in teaching and scientific activities.
The aim of the competition is to increase the prestige of the teaching profession and encourage university teachers to further professional development.
The competition is held in two stages – intra-university and republican. The application and documents for participation in the competition "The best university teacher" are accepted in electronic format through the information system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education universitycontest2023.iac.kz .
An expert group from among the staff and teaching staff of universities checks all received documents. Based on the conclusion of the expert group, the university commission makes a decision on the participation of the contestants in the second round – the republican one.
The republican stage begins on November 17, 2023.
It should be noted that in addition to monetary rewards for daily work, the winners of the "Best University Teacher" competition will also receive a badge. The competition will be held on the basis of an information system through which participants will be able to observe the transparency of all stages.
