The university library at 136 Pushkin Street is launching the “Шебердің қолы ортақ” or “Magic in your hands” platform. The faculty, university staff, and students of Baitursynuly University are all invited to submit their original handmade works.
This includes items of decorative and applied arts such as sewing, patchwork, applique, embroidery, knitting, pyrography, artistic carving, drawing, mosaics, weaving (bamboo, birch bark, beads, lace, macramé, wickerwork, mats), painting (Khokhloma, batik), clay modeling, etc.
The goal of the exhibition is to showcase the hobbies and creative pursuits our university community has.
The integrity and safety of all exhibits are guaranteed.
Submissions will be accepted starting December 2, 2024.
