Museum

The University Museum serves as an important center for scientific research, education, and culture, dedicated to the preservation and study of historical heritage.

The Museum’s main activities include academic research, the acquisition and maintenance of collections, the organization of exhibitions, and educational outreach. It collects, studies, and systematizes artifacts that reflect the history of the University and the development of education.

Particular attention is given to the preservation of collections, their proper registration, and storage in specially equipped facilities in accordance with established standards. The Museum also studies archival and library materials, as well as private collections.

The Museum actively engages with students, faculty, schoolchildren, and the local community, promoting historical awareness and fostering a sense of Kazakhstani patriotism. Its materials are used in educational programs and extracurricular activities.

The Museum’s work is aimed at preserving the University’s traditions, enhancing its scientific and cultural potential, and strengthening intergenerational connections.

The Museum features materials from the “Ak Zhol” expedition organized by the University, historical documents, reproductions of works by Akhmet Baitursynuly, and everyday objects from past eras.

The Museum is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a lunch break from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
