The Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation concluded the republican competition for student scholarships, held from June 5 to September 8, 2023. Aisha Rakhymetova, a 4th-year student majoring in History at KRU named after A. Baitursynuly, is one of the 80 talented youth recognized in this year's scholarship program.
Aisha is not only a state grant holder but also an active participant in public activities, a member of the "Parasat" debating club, and a repeated debate winner at both regional and national levels.
As a future historian, she actively studies the activities of the "Alash" party and its leader Alihan Bokeykhanov, presenting her research at student conferences and receiving the Elbasy Medal in May.
It's worth mentioning that 299 students from all over Kazakhstan participated in this year's competition, and the 80 winners will receive monthly scholarships of 40,000 tenge throughout the academic year. The award ceremony will take place in Almaty in December.
