Professors from Turkey Izzet Akca and Ridvan Kizilkaya have returned to Baitursynuly University to continue their collaboration with our institution.
This is the second visit of international scholars to KRU. To remind, Izzet Akca is a professor at the Department of Plant Protection at Ondokuz Mayıs University. He is conducting research on methods for monitoring and identifying pest insects, their role in ecosystems, and ways to protect agricultural crops from their impact.
Professor Ridvan Kizilkaya from the Department of Soil Science at the same university teaches and actively researches plant nutrition, biogeochemical cycles, and the ecological aspects of agricultural production.
The Turkish scholars continue to deliver a series of lectures to students and graduate students at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at KRU, as well as conduct advanced training courses for faculty members. Future plans include joint scientific projects and publications.
