Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Baitursynuly University held a lecture addressing the issues of terrorism and “droppers” (front people engaged in money laundering).

The primary goal of the event was to inform students about modern threats associated with terrorist activities, as well as the problem of dropping.

During the lecture, Kostanay Region Police Department officers explained the signs indicating potential terrorist threats, outlined the precautionary measures necessary to be observed on a daily basis., and, most importantly, explained the importance of promptly informing law enforcement authorities about suspicious individuals or objects.

Additionally, students were briefed on what dropping is, how fraudsters lure citizens into criminal activities, and the possible consequences for those who agree to act as droppers. Attendees were reminded to remain vigilant and not to believe criminals offering easy money in exchange for cashing out funds.

Such preventive measures are aimed at raising youth awareness about existing threats and strengthening cooperation between the community and law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime.
