Establishment of the Council of Young Scientists at the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On February 23, 2024, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists (CYS), Zhazira Zhumabayevna Bermukhametova, attended the first meeting of the Council of Young Scientists, established by the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by young scientists from all regions of the country and was chaired by the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NAN RK), who introduced the chairman and members of the CYS.

The main objective of the National Academy of Sciences is to become a hub for talented individuals capable of making an intellectual contribution to the country's economic development.

The meeting was conducted in an open dialogue format with young scientists from nearly 60 universities and research institutes in Kazakhstan, with over 100 young scientists participating online.

Proposals and current issues in the work of young scientists were heard, along with a discussion on the future direction of the Council of Young Scientists.
