At A. Baytursynuly Kostanay Regional University, an exhibition dedicated to the Republic Day was held in honor of the Honorary Citizen of Arkalyk, Shoptibay Baidildin, a master of Kazakh national patterns.
Shoptibay Baidildin created around 1500 new ornament patterns, exhibited in Turkey in 1992 and at the Atlanta Olympics in the USA in 1996.
His works were published in republican publications such as 'Mәdenıet mura,' 'Mәdenıet,' 'Zhurağat,' 'Aray,' 'Alga.' In honor of the national holiday, Rector Seitbek Kuanyshbayev presented Shoptibay Baidildin with a Letter of Gratitude for his contribution to the development of Kazakh national art. Following tradition, a concert dedicated to Republic Day took place in the auditorium.
