Students from the Department of Theory and Practice of Physical Culture and Sports at A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University have showcased impressive results in both national and international sports competitions.
Recently, in the historic city of Khiva (Uzbekistan), the World Kettlebell Sport Championship took place, featuring 600 athletes from 21 countries. KRU students Denis Dolgashov, Manur Shaikenov, Abuali Amanqul, and Anton Stelmakh secured silver medals in weight categories of 73 kg, 68 kg, 63 kg, and 58 kg, respectively, representing Kazakhstan on the global sports stage.
Additionally, at the U23 Judo Championship among adults in Karaganda, students Alzhan Nuradil (60 kg) and Magzhan Alzhanov (73 kg) from the "Physical Culture and Sports" program also earned silver in their weight categories.
