The Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the P. Chuzhinov Institute of Economics and Law hosted an Open Day for graduating students of the "Jurisprudence" program at the Rudny Socio-Humanitarian College.
The students were given tours of the department's specialized classrooms.
The Head of the Department, Leyla Garashova, informed the students about the Institute's educational programs: "Jurisprudence," "International Law," and "Judicial and Law Enforcement Activities," the availability of a military department at the University, student academic mobility, and opportunities for developing creative potential in public life.
The college students also witnessed a mock courtroom trial led by the senior lecturer of the department, Bibigul Salamatoya.
The courtroom simulation, in the form of a role-playing game, focused on a "Main Trial." Third-year "Jurisprudence" students played the roles of participants in the criminal process (judge, prosecutor, defense attorney, defendant, victim, etc.).
This demonstration highlighted the educational opportunities in law-related programs, where, alongside theoretical knowledge, students gain practical skills that contribute to the quality and level of acquired knowledge and skills.
