Students from the 4th year of the Journalism and Communication Management Department, Ekaterina Baynyasheva, Vladimir Lakamov, and Aigerim Kudzhanova, won in a special nomination at the international social journalism festival, Humani Future, held in St. Petersburg from November 23 to 25.
The students of KRU named after Akhmet Baytursynuly produced a documentary film called "Rolling Stroll" about the Kostanay activist and blogger Nikita Zhuravlyov, addressing issues of inclusion on social media.
Their film, selected in the "Documentary Film" category, ranked among the top ten, earning them a special recognition in the "Special Perspective" category and a prize from the "Perspectives" public foundation, aiding children with special needs.
