The “FIFA KSU CUP IX” republican tournament, organized by the KarSU Debate Club, took place on April 1-2 at the Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Boketov.
The tournament theme was FIFA and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Thirty-two teams and sixty-four debaters from the cities of Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Arkalyk, Kyzylorda, Ekibastuz, and Zhezkazgan participated in the competition.
Five teams from the “Parasat” Debate Club represented KRU.
Following the tournament, our debaters, Sultan Kambarov and Sanjar Ajbinbetov, members of the “Zhastar Alanynda” team, secured first place.
Indira Artykbay and Ybrayem Sabyrjan took second place.
Our student-debater, Chingiz Zhumagali, also became a LD finalist.
Winners were awarded diplomas and special trophies.
