For more than 20 years, Baitursynuly University has had a good tradition of celebrating World Crane Day.
Yesterday, the birdwatchers club (amateur ornithologists) celebrated another date – organized an environmental quiz for freshmen.
The children were greeted by the head of the club, Professor Tatyana BRAGINA, head of the Department of Natural Sciences of the KRU Gauhar BAUBEKOVA and a special guest of the holiday - the former leader of the birdwatchers club, Elena ANDREEVA.
Сstudent activists Daniil KHRESTINETSKY, Baurzhan ZHUZENOV, Aidana SABYRZHAN, Adina ROMANOVA and Serik AMANGELDIEV told the first-year students about the species of cranes living in Kazakhstan, and also arranged a scientific and educational quiz for them.
The student of the OP "Geography" Aruzhan ESERKEPOVA won the quiz, and the students of the OP "Biology" Sabrina SANDYBAYEVA, Adelina MASTANOVA and the student of the OP "Chemistry" Nurzhan ISMAILOV won the thematic poster competition.
