Various events are being held at the A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University as part of the "Seven Steps of Nauryz" event. Today, the university held the final stage of the Nauryz celebration, which was also timed to the Unity Day of the people of Kazakhstan. As part of the celebration today, a fair of national cuisine, sports games competitions, as well as a presentation of Kazakhstan traditions, theatrical performances, and the concert "Welcome, Oh Nauryz" were organized.
Letters of gratitude were also given to those who took an active part in the organization of the Nauryz celebration. Teachers and students, foreign guests, and invited guests - the head of the Culture Department of the Kostanay Region Erlan Kalmakov, the leader of the "AMANAT" party faction of the Kostanay Regional Maslikhat Bibigul Akkozhina noted that the Nauryz celebration smoothly transitioned into the celebration of the Unity Day of the people of Kazakhstan, thereby demonstrating that "Kazakhstan is a country of unity and solidarity!". In the yurt located in the university courtyard, guests sampled national dishes.
The main goal of organizing these events is to popularize Kazakh customs, national cuisine, and games among modern youth, as at the origin of the holiday there are peace, harmony, love for the Motherland. By celebrating the great day of Nauryz, we are promoting openness and tolerance towards the revival of our common traditional values.
