The Youth Resource Center summed up the results of the annual "Best Volunteer" contest. Among the winners were volunteers from the student volunteer club "Ayaly Zhurek." Adilkhan Serikbayev, a 4th-year student of SHI, and Elubai Zholaman, a 1st-year student of ITI, received diplomas and cash prizes of 100,000 tenge each.
The annual contest aims to promote volunteer activities among all categories of residents in Kostanay region and volunteer organizations.
Zholaman has over four years of volunteer experience. Before coming to Kostanay, he led volunteer teams in the Zhitikara district and organized many events to help veterans, develop sports, and combat drug addiction.
Adilkhan is the chairman of the "Ayaly Zhurek" volunteer club and has been volunteering since his first year. The club has conducted numerous actions as part of volunteer activities, including clearing snow from elderly people's yards, engaging youth in cultural values, and teaching volunteers first aid skills. Adilkhan is a worthy leader motivating over 100 club members to help people and animals and provide social assistance to children.
