A reading contest

At the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute, within the framework of the decade of Nauryznam, a bata-blessing recitation competition "Nauryzym - merekem, Nauryzym- berekem" was held.

Kazakhs have long had an unshakeable faith in the grace-giving power of the word. People believed that thanks to a kind and sincere wish, you can achieve your goals and desires. No wonder the people have wise words: "The earth turns green after the rain, the horseman thrives after receiving a blessing."

This good tradition, coming from the depths of centuries, has always been given special importance. Kind, sincere words of parting words had a beneficial effect on the upbringing of noble feelings in young people. Currently, this tradition has begun to fade into the background and lose its importance. In this regard, the main goal of the competition is the revival and promotion of national customs and traditions. Educating young people to respect their land, its customs, language and traditions.

15 students took part in the competition. The competition consisted of two stages: the first stage "Ak Bata asyl mura". The students took turns going on stage and reading bata. Stage II was a question and answer contest, where the contestants answered questions about the culture and traditions of the Kazakh people. The students recited bata by heart, a national blessing that is expressed in best wishes and kind parting words. Most often, this ceremony is performed at a festive dastarkhan, before an important event or a long-distance departure.

According to the results of the competition, the third place was taken by the student of the educational program "Physical culture and sports" Alisher Otesh. In second place is the 3rd year student of the educational program "Chemistry-Biology" Bekzat  Satershinov.  And the 2nd year student of the educational program "Kazakh language and literature" Baksultan Zhaksybek was unanimously recognized as the winner.  All the prize-winners were awarded diplomas of the I, II and III degrees.

Teachers and students received positive emotions from the competition. The educational and edifying significance of this event was enormous.
