On the Day of National Sports, catch the atmosphere of excitement and healthy rivalry from the students of Baitursynuly University!
Students of ten departments of the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute participated in the competitions dedicated to the festive decade of Nauryznam.
Athletes demonstrated strength in Arkan tartys (tug of war), kettlebell lifting and arm wrestling, and dexterity in the games of Bes taban and Asyk ata.
The participants were actively encouraged by the fans. It was especially lively near the tables where they were fighting on their hands. Artyom Morgun (up to 75 kg) and Anatoly Shidlovsky (75 + kg) showed impressive results.
Even the teachers tried their hand. Already out of the standings, of course.
The winners of both the team and individual championships were awarded diplomas and cups. In some sports, there were not three prizes, but as many as 9 (!), taking into account different weight categories. In general, friendship has won!
And it couldn't be any other way, because Nauryz is a kind and friendly holiday.
