"Journalism and PR: New Challenges of the Time" is the main topic of the panel session, which was held online today as part of the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference "Baitursynov Readings - 2020": "Teachings of the Great Personalities of the Great Steppe and New Opportunities for the Modernization of Kazakhstani Society: Education, Science and Spirituality in the Context of Globalization".
Despite our worries, the session turned out to be interesting and informative, corresponding to the variety of problems faced by modern journalism and media education. This is evidenced by the topics submitted for the panel session by scientists and researchers from A. Baitursynov Kostanay State University and South Ural State University from Chelyabinsk (Russian Federation). In particular:

Baitursynov KSU, presented a small part of her scientific research on the topic "New forms of content delivery in innovative journalism in Kazakhstan"; Anna Cherednyakova, Doctor of Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations of South Ural State University, made a presentation titled "Neurotechnologies in Digital Communications: Problems and Prospects";

Young researchers also deserved their share of the attention of the audience of the panel session. They are taking their first steps in scientific work. Nevertheless, the topics of scientific research testify to the diversity and depth of their research interests.
Akyl Askarova, a master's student of A. Baitursynov KSU in the Journalism program, made a presentation on the topic "Kazakh Tamyrlastyk Instituty men toleranttylygy";
Zhilkibayeva Zarina, master's student of the A. Baitursynov KSU "Journalism", spoke about the experiments conducted and the generalizations on the topic "Effectiveness of the introduction of media educational technologies in the educational process";

Despite the fact that the technical and technological support of the panel session was far from perfect, all the speeches were listened to with great interest. Special thanks to the scientists from South Ural State University, who expressed hope for further cooperation with A. Baitursynov KSU and support for the scientific research of Kostanay young scientists in the field of modern journalism.
