THE DISSERTATION DEFENSE TOOK PLACE!

Today, a meeting of the Dissertation Council in 8D091-Veterinary major was held under the chairmanship of Raushan Ryshchanova, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Professor, Head of the Scientific and Innovation Center of the Research Institute of Applied Biotechnology at A.Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University.  

The members of the Dissertation Council, which includes 7 people - primarily Kazakhstani scientists in the field of veterinary medicine, were presented the scientific research in 6D120200 – Veterinary sanitation major by Gulnur Aliyeva on "Intraspecific features and differences in resistance profiles of Staphylococcus spp. strains circulating in the Northern region of Kazakhstan" and Anara Mendybayeva on "Investigation of the phenotypic and genotypic resistance of Salmonella enterica strains circulating in the Northern region of Kazakhstan".   

It is worth noting that the research on the topics was conducted in the laboratories of microbiology and molecular genetic analysis on the basis of the Research Institute of Applied Biotechnology at A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, in the Laboratory of Microbiology of the Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (Kaunas) and in the Laboratory of Chemical and Molecular Genetic Methods of Research and Analysis of IC LLP "SPC of microbiology and virology" (Almaty).

All the Dissertation Council members and official reviewers gave positive feedback, including on the relevance, novelty, theoretical and practical level of the dissertations, which influenced the unanimous decision to apply to the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for awarding the doctoral students the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 6D120200 – Veterinary Sanitation major.
