Seminar for UnWaste participants and UXiship project

From 05.02.2023, the second block of seminars began at the Kostanay Regional University as part of two Erasmus + projects: the UnWaste project and the UXiship project.

As part of the project “Activating the competencies of students of ICT specialties in the development of startups using interdisciplinary modular courses in the educational programs of universities (UXiship)”, teachers and students from the Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yesenov (Aktau) came to our university for an internship, and Almaty Management University, Almaty. Teachers of the Kostanay Regional University of Engineering and Technology Institute named after A. Aitmukhambetov, together with the regional Smart Center, will conduct training and practical classes in the direction "The concept of an open university: acceleration and mentoring for the implementation of start-ups and the development of existing youth businesses."

As part of the project “Promotion of the circular economy in partner countries through the development and implementation of the master's program “Waste Management” (UnWaste), teachers and students from partner universities are invited to our university: Kokshetau University named after Sh. Research University named after S. Seifullin, Astana. Teachers from the Department of Biology, Ecology and Chemistry, the Department of Processing Technology and Standardization, the Department of Accounting and Management, as well as the Department of Machines, Tractors and Automobiles, offer unique courses in the direction of "Sustainability and Waste Management", which combine master classes, debates, performances by professionals from production, as well as other forms to achieve the maximum effect from training.

In addition, the participants will visit a number of large innovative enterprises in the region - the Allur automobile plant (Kostanay), and JSC Sokolovsko-Sarbai Mining and Processing Production Association, Rudny.

The work of the seminars will last from May 2 to 6 within the walls of our university, and from May 8 to 12 - in the videoconference mode.
