Seminars Involving Stakeholders

At the Department of Natural Sciences of the Sultan-gazin Pedagogical Institute, a scientific seminar in the form of a round table on "Geography and Current Issues in Tourism Development" took place. The seminar discussed current issues in the development of geography and tourism, addressing their contemporary status and challenges.

The seminar featured the participation of Turkish scholar Dr. Emin Atasoy, a PhD professor from Uludag University (Bursa, Turkey), currently at Baitursynov University through the program inviting foreign scholars from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Stakeholder representatives and Geography program students were invited as attendees. Dr. Atasoy shared his experiences and perspectives on studying geography, motivating seminar participants to explore geography through practical experience.

The collaborative discussion on current issues provided a platform for interesting research directions in the study of geography and tourism and their implementation in professional activities.
