On February 6, 2021, a scheduled monitoring of the international project KUTEL - Universities of Kazakhstan for improving quality assurance processes in education using new technologies was held online.
The monitoring began with a welcoming speech by the Rector of the International University of Information Technologies and Director of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan (NEO) Tasbulatova Shaizada Umurzakovna. She also introduced the goals and objectives of monitoring, and the main issues of monitoring: characteristics of the main stages of preparation, development and implementation of project results. She also drew attention to the issues of assessing the quality of all the main stages of the project. She noted that all universities should have results on the impact of the project on the internal procedures of teaching/learning/management at the university; must be able to justify the relevance and significance of the project through the completed stages of work (developed courses, new tools, new services, new strategies implemented to reach target groups, etc.). Also reveal how relationships with employers and other stakeholders at the local and regional levels will be maintained after the completion of the project and the role of the project at the individual, institutional and national levels.
Acquaintance with the current state of the project, a brief overview of the project was made by the National Project Coordinator G.D. Zakirova, Country Coordinator, IITU. The implementation of the project, the relevance of the project goals was introduced by Salikova N.S., researcher, AMC. The issues of direct implementation of the project and the relevance of the project goals were covered by Kifik N.Y. and Bezhina V.V., representatives of the team from the KRU named after A. Baitursynov. The role of the accreditation agency in the implementation of the project was presented by Kydyrmina N.A., Head of the Information and Analytical Project, Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR).
All project participants took part in the discussion of the following issues: the impact of the project on sustainability, the expenditure of project funds, the purchase of equipment and the design of specialized classrooms.
A separate issue was the issue of disseminating the results of the project, the responsible for this issue were: Shayakhmetova A.A. coordinator from KSU named after Sh. Ualikhanov and Zhunusov ZH.T. PF "Youth Front of the Leader of the Nation.
All teams took part in discussing the issues of partnership and cooperation on this project, in discussing the progress of the project. At the end of the monitoring, Shaizada Tasbulatova, Director of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kazakhstan (NEO), familiarized the monitoring participants with the preliminary results of the project.
