182 Kazakhstan citizens have become recipients of the international "Bolashak" scholarship. Of these, 149 will pursue master's degrees, 7 will pursue doctoral degrees at the best universities in the world, and will be sent to leading universities and production centers worldwide for internships.
Among them are 8 scholars from the A. Baitursynov Kostanay Regional University, who, by decision of the Republican Commission on Training Personnel Abroad, became recipients of grants for scientific internships at leading scientific centers around the world. Internship locations include universities in the USA (Michigan State University), the top M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, and universities in the Baltic States and Bulgaria. The state covers the interns' expenses for internship, round-trip airfare, medical insurance, and a monthly stipend. The amount of the stipend varies depending on the city and standard of living in a particular country.
It should be noted that the grant competition was held in 3 rounds: comprehensive testing, personal interviews with members of the expert commission, and document review at a meeting of the Republican Commission on Training Personnel Abroad.
