For the second year in a row, students of the educational program “History” of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of Baitursynuly University took prizes at the republican research competition of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This year, the 3rd year student Asemai Orazbekova has become one of three winners. She took the 3rd place in the competition among students of higher educational institutions. By the way, our 2nd year student Sagyngali Gulderai also took bronze in that competition a year ago. The scientific supervisor of both students is the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Baitursynuly University Ruslan Zhusupov.
The topic of the work is “Repressed political figures of the Kostanay Region (based on documents from the Kostanay regional archive and interviews with relatives).” The authors wrote this article based on documents containing information that is still unknown to the public. Special interviews were also conducted with descendants of the affected people.
