Results of the first year of the SAGRIS project

The project is aimed at solving problems in the field of training scientific and pedagogical personnel in accordance with international quality standards and aims to increase the level of knowledge in the field of sustainable agriculture and agricultural systems of the future - a topic of national, interregional and international importance.

This project was launched on January 15, 2020. During the first year, all planned meetings and activities were digitized. Thanks to the cohesive work of all partners, the project consortium managed to achieve the tasks set for the first project year even under the existing restrictions.

The consortium consists of 5 scientific and educational organizations in Europe, 4 universities in Russia and 4 universities in Kazakhstan, including a team from A. Baitursynov KRU.

The results of the first year of the consortium of partners were:

4 international research teams on the topics of the project modules: more than 150 participants in total;

developed structures of SAGRIS modules, compiled in accordance with European quality standards, including learning outcomes for the developed modules;

In the new year, the project participants will begin to develop educational materials for disciplines, as well as strategies for the long-term development of third-cycle education in partner universities. Developers, as well as graduate / doctoral students from partner universities will take part in training internships, and pilot implementation of the developed modules.

A scientific project is a large systematic well-coordinated activity of the team. A great deal of work has been done, and much remains to be done.
