The Phenomenon of Childhood

In modern education, inclusion plays an increasingly vital role, aiming to create conditions for the learning of students with diverse needs and abilities. To support this, Baitursynuly University hosted professional development courses for teachers, focused on inclusive education methods and approaches.

A total of 275 university faculty participated in the courses "Practical Model of Implementing Higher Professional Integrated Inclusive Education," organized by the Center for Inclusive Education and Innovative Educational Technologies, along with the Continuing Education Department of KRU.

The courses included both theoretical and practical modules. Faculty were introduced to the concept of inclusive education, its principles, and its importance in creating an accessible learning environment. They explored various pedagogical methods that could be adapted for students with disabilities (limited health capabilities).

A special focus was placed on building a supportive and safe educational environment, ensuring that each student feels comfortable and is integrated into the learning process. Faculty learned how to interact not only with students but also with their parents and other specialists in the field of inclusive education.

After the theoretical part, participants completed credit projects, applying their new knowledge in role-playing games and situational tasks.

These courses represent an important step towards creating more accessible and high-quality higher education. Future plans include continuing similar initiatives and expanding programs for teacher training and professional development in inclusive education.
