The Department of Natural Sciences at Baitursynuly University hosted an Open House Day for high school students. Guests included students from the Alexandrovskaya Educational School of the Kostanay district, the I. Altynsarin Specialized Boarding School, and Lyceum No. 4 of Rudny.
Future applicants immersed themselves in the world of natural sciences. The students observed demonstrations of chemical and laboratory experiments, worked with cartographic instruments, and conducted soil sample experiments. They were also introduced to ornithology, learning about bird identification guides and listening to bird calls.
The next stop on the tour was the Paleontological Museum, followed by an exciting quest where the students solved numerous puzzles prepared by the department’s students.
The graduates left with great impressions, and many of them expressed their intention to return to Baitursynuly University as students next year!
