Foreign Scientists at KRU

As part of the program "Attracting Foreign Scientists to Teaching Activities in Higher and Postgraduate Education Organizations," two scientists arrived at the university: Sergey Solovyov, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, and Senior Researcher at the Department of Biogeography of Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia), and Alexander Tashev, Candidate of Biological Sciences and Professor at the University of Forestry (Sofia, Bulgaria).

In a conversation with Rector Seitbek Kuanishbaev, the foreign guests noted that "Kazakhstan is a country that is developing dynamically and rapidly. This gives a new impulse to intensify work with you. We hope our cooperation will continue, and we will work together on common projects and ideas."

Their visit aims to deliver lectures to students, master's, and doctoral students, provide consultations on dissertation work, and participate in scientific research in engineering laboratories. Additionally, they will conduct professional development courses for teachers. Together with our scientists and doctoral students, they will co-author articles for international scientific journals and journals recommended by the Committee for Control in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During their stay, events and meetings with the participation of foreign professors will be held at the Departments of Biology, Ecology, and Chemistry of the V. Dvurechensky Agricultural Institute and the Natural Sciences Department of the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute.
