Today, the university is faced with the task of not only providing students with theoretical knowledge but also forming professional competencies in them. At KRU A. Baitursynov, various types of practice-oriented training are used. This includes the organization of academic, production, and pre-graduation internships, during which students acquire real professional competencies in their field of study.
In addition, the university has created conditions for acquiring knowledge, skills, and experience in studying academic disciplines, which take place in specialized classrooms and laboratories.
However, it is also important that some practical and laboratory classes are held directly at the enterprise. For example, students studying in the "Mechanical Engineering," "Technological Machines and Equipment," and "Transport, Transport Equipment and Technology" educational programs, in 3rd-4th year courses, already have classes at ТОО "SaryArkaAvtoProm."
Furthermore, the university maintains close cooperation with ТОО "KamLitKZ." As you know, the construction of two modern plants for the production of cast iron castings for internal combustion engines and components of leading bridges (beams and main transmissions) is underway in Kostanay. The launch of these plants is planned for 2023 and 2024. The enterprise already needs personnel today. Yesterday, a meeting was held between students of the Engineering and Technical Institute and representatives of ТОО "KamLitKZ," who are ready to hire about 500 people next year. The enterprise will not only provide employment but also offer a social package to its employees.
Cooperation with major industrial enterprises solves two main tasks at once. This is the acquisition of professional competencies by students and the employment of graduates.
