Seminar of "Serpin" Program

Today, a round table discussion entitled "Employment: Prospects and Opportunities" was held at  Kostanay Regional University  A. Baitursynov, with the participation of past graduates and students of the "Serpin" state program.

As you know, the "Mangilik el jastary-industryaga!" - "Serpin" project has been operating in Kazakhstan since 2014. The main focus of this program is to provide education and employment for young people from the southern regions in higher education institutions of the northern region of Kazakhstan, and KRU A. Baitursynov is one of the universities that participates in this project today. Over this time, the university has trained 945 young specialists. Currently, 154 students are studying in the pedagogical, agricultural, technical, and IT fields under this program. All conditions have been created for them – free dormitory accommodation, scholarships are provided. In addition, due to recent changes, program graduates have the right to choose their place of work in one of the 11 regions of Kazakhstan (previously, work was expected in the region of study), the duration of which has also been reduced from 3 years to 2 years.

The round table is an opportunity for the university to support its graduates and discuss problematic issues with "Serpin" students. The discussion also touched upon the creation of a public association "baitursynov_university serpin alumni".

University graduates who attended the meeting and studied under the "Serpin" program spoke about the working conditions and living arrangements after graduating from the university, shared their impressions and achievements.

"We feel the support of the state, and you can also take advantage of this opportunity," they addressed those who are still studying under this program today.
