Mechanical engineers in Kostanay are worth their weight in gold now.
Graduates of Baitursynuly University are eagerly awaited by several major enterprises. Among them is the KIA plant under construction, which is already ready to hire specialists.
The representatives of the plant discussed employment prospects with the students and the faculty of KRU.
"Our region positions itself as the region of mechanical engineering," ErbolIsakayev said, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Baitursynuly University. "Enterprises are already experiencing a shortage of personnel. The best of you will be fought for!"
The Head of HR at KIA Qazaqstan, Gulnara Sabirova, reported that the enterprise plans to hire around 720 employees by the end of the year. When the plant reaches its maximum production, this number will increase to 1,500.
"We are ready to hire you without experience and provide on-the-job a training," Gulnara Rakhimbaevna explained. "The salary will be around 250,000 tenge. Some of you may even take a month-long internship in Korea."
This offer is more than alluring to start with. Students who are interested will visit the plant to get acquainted with the employers and the production process more closely.
