On April 14 and 15, 2022, first-year students of the OP "Geography" of the Pedagogical Institute named after Sultangazina conducted an entertaining intellectual quiz game "Around the World" for seventh grade students with Kazakh and Russian language of instruction at the 27th school of Kostanay city (KSU "Secondary School No. 27 of the Department of Education of Kostanay city"). The event was timed to celebrate the 123rd anniversary of the birth of Kanysh Imantayevich Satpayev, a geologist, the first president of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan.
The quiz game was aimed at expanding horizons and increasing interest in the subject of geography in general and local history in particular.
The intellectual quiz game "Around the World" consisted of four rounds, during which seventh grade teams participated in a geographical blitz survey, worked with cartographic material, demonstrated excellent knowledge in the field of geology, geomorphology, general earth science. At the end of the quiz, there was a solemn awarding ceremony for the teams and especially active spectators. Following the results of the quiz game, the participating teams were awarded certificates of prizes.
After the end of the game, students and students exchanged positive feedback and impressions.
