From October 24, 2022 at KRU named after. A. Baitursynov is the professor of the Forestry University of Sofia (Republic of Bulgaria) Alexander Tashev.
His visit took place thanks to the implementation of Order No. 155 of 19.04.2022 on attracting foreign scientists to the teaching activities of higher and postgraduate education organizations.
Alexander Tashev is a specialist in botany, dendrology, floristry, phytocenology, flora and vegetation protection, and forest ecosystem ecology. He is the leader, participant, and expert of many national and international scientific projects related to flora and vegetation protection.
From October 24 to November 19, 2022, the professor will give lectures and conduct practical classes for students, master's students and doctoral students of the departments of "Biology, Ecology and Chemistry" and "Natural Science Disciplines", as well as a training seminar for young scientists and doctoral students. In addition, plans include advanced training courses for the university's faculty.
As a scientific consultant, Professor Alexander Tashev will conduct discussions and review of master's theses.
The foreign guest will also take part in the development of a joint research project, as well as in the preparation of scientific articles in peer-reviewed international journals with an impact factor, together with the university’s master’s students.
Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to develop scientific, academic and methodological links between universities.
