DONG-EUI UNIVERSITY IN SOUTH KOREA INCREASES QUOTA FOR BAITURSYNULY UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

In the upcoming academic year, 10 students from Kostanay will have the opportunity to study at Dong-Eui University in South Korea. This unique opportunity was realized within the memorandum signed by the representatives of both universities during the second visit of the Korean University delegation.

As a result of the agreements reached in November, two students from Baitursynuly University are exchanging experiences at Dong-Eui. At the foreign educational institution, they are studying the development of unmanned vehicles, system control and practical operation of electrical equipment, and automobile parts design.

Following the successful cooperation, it was decided to increase the student quota. As noted by the rector of Baitursynuly University, SeitbekKuanyshbayev, this collaboration is strategically important not only for the region but also for our country as Baitursynuly University is a key institution in training personnel for the mechanical engineering industry. Students who have studied in South Korea and speak Korean will be in demand at the KIA plant which will reach its maximum production in the region next year. This is also a valuable experience for Dong-Eui. According to delegates, international partnerships always provide a new impetus to the university.

"I express my gratitude to the authorities of Baitursynuly University for successful cooperation," noted Lee Imgeun, Vice President of Dong-Eui. "I am sure it will continue to progress. We are going to include establishing a Korean language Institute at Baitursynuly University, the  representatives of the teaching staff of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of KRU will be sent to South Korea and new joint projects will also be developed."

It is worth mentioning that Dong-Eui is one of the oldest private universities in South Korea with significant experience in training mechanical engineers and close collaboration with the globally renowned automobile corporation Hyundai.
