Today at Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov, students met with Fulbright Program scholar Saide Ritter from the United States and a representative from the U.S. Embassy. The main goal of the Fulbright Program is to enhance English language skills among students, teachers, and youth in Kazakhstan.
Saide Ritter, holding a bachelor's degree and having experience teaching English to adults and immigrant children, will teach English at our university for the entire academic year. Students will have an excellent opportunity to learn the language from a native speaker.
As part of the grant, Saide will conduct various conversation clubs for students at the "American Corner" in the regional library named after L. Tolstoy, educational seminars, a club introducing U.S. culture, history, and geography. Kazakhstani students also have the chance to participate in the program and study at universities in the United States.
