Sharp Vision, Quick Thinking, and Thinking Hats

A creative open lesson was held by the Department of Natural Sciences.

As part of the Department Week, senior lecturer Karshyga Tasbulatovna Baimaganbetova led a class for first-year students on the subject “Age and Physiological Characteristics of Child Development.”

The lesson aimed to teach students how to assess visual acuity using a standard chart and introduced the method that proves the presence of a blind spot on the human retina.

Laboratory work in this subject is conducted throughout the academic year, and students are actively engaged. The approach helps reinforce knowledge both theoretically and practically.

After completing the lab work, students shared their conclusions and answered questions.

The lesson featured multiple interactive teaching methods using multimedia tools.
