EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS FOR DOCTORAL STUDENTS AND STUDENTS.

The Scientific-Bibliographic Department of the university library, together with the candidate of philological sciences, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Practical Linguistics Ayslu Bayakhmetova, conducted educational sessions on "Information Network Resources for Educational and Scientific Activities" for 2nd-year students and doctoral students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Energy, and Information Technology and the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The goal of these sessions, held as part of the "Academic Business Writing" discipline, was to familiarize students and doctoral students with the basics of navigating electronic information resources provided by the scientific library, resources of open access on library websites, as well as Kazakhstani open access databases, such as the "Electronic Library of the Works of the University's Academic Staff", "KazNEB", "RMEB", "EAPATIS", "CyberLeninka", "eLIBRARY.RU", the "Scopus" database, the "Web of Science", "SpringerLink", "Russian State Library", "National Electronic Library", "National Digital Resource Rukont", "All-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Russian Academy of Sciences", "Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences", the information-legal system of regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Adilet", the database of national statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and others.
