At the Department of Agronomy of the Agricultural Institute named after V. Dvurechensky KSU named after A. Baitursynov a round table was held on the theme: "Vision of sustainable agriculture: present and prospects of development", dedicated to the Day of Science. It was attended by the head of the laboratory of precision and organic farming LLP "Agricultural Experimental Station "Zarechnoye" Yuri Tulaev.
The event was attended by students of 1 - 4 courses of specialty "Agronomy", faculty of the department.
The moderator was the head of the Department of Agronomy Ekaterina Ekaterinskaya, who addressed to the participants of the round table with a welcoming speech. In her speech she noted the importance and relevance of the topic of the round table, which in her opinion will help to better understand the existing problems of employment of graduates.
The discussion also touched upon such topics as resource-saving approaches for sustainable agriculture; digitalization in crop production: principles and application of digital image processing; GIS systems; aerial and satellite imagery; real-time systems, operation and use of drones in agriculture; local weather stations. "
