The week of field seminars on the discipline "Youth policy and methods of educational work" for 3rd-year students of pedagogical specialties on the topic "Youth resource centers: goals, tasks and functions" under the guidance of the Department senior lecturer of Pedagogy and Psychology Asiya Khamitovna Usembayeva has ended. The seminars were held on the basis of the Youth Resource Center of Kostanay region in Zhastar Sarayi. The staff of the youth center were glad to meet with the students, since their activities are directly aimed at this age audience. By the way, the employees of this center are, for the most part, graduates of our university.
The purpose of the youth resource center is to explain the implementation of youth policy in our region. The third-year students got acquainted with the functions of youth resource centers, how these functions work. In particular, the types of maintenance and support for youth initiatives were presented to the attention: free consultations of a lawyer, a taxman and a psychologist, what state programs there are for young people, about the activities of volunteers and about projects that are currently being implemented. For example, students were invited to take part in the project "Zhas Costa!", the event "Autumn Festival", CCR, cyber club, to try themselves in various directions of volunteering, etc.
