"World Around Me" is the title of the essay competition held by the Department of Journalism and Communication Management for graduating students of Kostanay and other regions of Kazakhstan.
Among the competition participants there were many worthy works, but the winner was Aibek Kasymbek, a student of the A. Gorky school-gymnasium in Kostanay. His essay was highly rated by the jury for the deep analysis of the topic, a creative approach to its disclosure, a new approach to the problem, and the ability to clearly express his ideas.
At the award-winning ceremony held in the journalism department, Aibek was awarded a first degree diploma and a monetary prize (a certificate worth twenty thousand tenge at the Technodom store). In his speech, Aibek thanked the jury for giving students the opportunity to participate in a nationwide competition, be creatively disclosed, and gain new experiences. Aibek plans to enter the A. Baitursynov KRU and dreams of linking his future with a journalism profession.
Second place was taken by Ariana Zhubantaeva, a student of middle school No.5 in the city of Aktobe.
And the student of middle school No.64 named after U. Kulyumbetov from Aktobe, Aigerim Barlyk took the prize 3rd place.
The Department of Journalism and Communication Management congratulates all winners and participants of the competition and hopes to see everyone in the university walls among our students.
The competition was organized to stimulate creative thinking, develop language and writing skills, as well as professional orientation of entrants.
