The lecture was delivered by a scholar from Turkey

A renowned scholar, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Abdülvahab Kara from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul, Turkey, gave an online lecture for the faculty of the Department of Humanitarian and Social Sciences at the P. Chuzhinov Institute of Law and Economics, and for students of the educational program 6B02201-History on the topic: "Mustafa Shokay - The Great Wrestler for Turkestan."

During the lecture, Abdülvahab Kara shared new data and archival documents about the life and work of Mustafa Shokay, revealing his place in the Turkic world as a whole. The lecture was held at a high level, and faculty and students expressed a keen interest in the historical events of the life of Mustafa Shokay, with students asking questions and faculty members sharing their opinions.

In 1987-1988, Abdülvahab Kara began his scientific and professional career in the Ottoman Archives. While working in Munich (1988-1995), he was an editor at the radio "Azattyq" (Liberty). In 1995, he returned to Turkey and continued his research. In 2002, A. Kara defended his doctoral dissertation "Mustafa Shokay and Central Asia in the Struggle for the Independence of the Turkic Republic."

Professor Abdülvahab Kara is considered one of the most authoritative foreign "scholars of Shokay."
